How Effective Are Breast Enhancement Creams?

How Effective Are Breast Enhancement Creams?

Today's society appears to be seeking bodily perfection like never before. Women in particular are interested, whether it is because of the hype in the
media, peer pressure, a personal choice or similar. Breasts feature heavily at the top of many women's improvement lists.
A huge range of bust enhancement creams exist that claim to produce firmer, more rounded and sometimes larger busts. These products are typically
small containers full of a soft cream that is massaged onto the breast skin, often daily, then apparently producing the desired results.
Many women would prefer to regularly apply a cream than resort to expensive, time consuming and potentially disastrous breast surgery. It follows
that the true effectiveness of these breast enhancement creams is a hot topic.
Enhancement creams are one of the most popular breast enhancement methods next to breast surgery. The cream used typically contains an
assortment of ingredients such as wild yam, fenugreek, kelp, burdock root and black cohosh. The active ingredient tends to be in such a small quantity
as to do next to nothing, in terms of effectiveness. Even if large quantities of various active ingredients exist, an effective mechanism for transporting
these chemicals through the skin barrier tends not to exist.
What should not be confused with actual breast tissue growth are reactions to the creams whereby frequent temporary breast tissue swelling occurs.
This occurrence has wrongly convinced many women of the supposed 'wonders' of the cream in question.
Phytoestrogens have been seen added to bust enhancement creams in some cases. Not hormones, phytoestrogens are said to produce the same
benefits as natural estrogen. Strong courses of a chemical known as Retin-A (retinolic acid), a chemical known to be highly beneficial to people's skin
(promoting collagen within the dermis, increasing cell turnover and enhancing vascularity) can't apparently create the results boasted on the sides of
enhancement cream containers.
Many other breast enhancement products are out there, pills, pumps and enhancement supplements to name but a few. The latter has seemingly
proved more effective than enhancement cream. Occasions when women have used both supplements and creams it has been the supplements that
they believed worked.
More research is necessary to establish whether enhancement creams work. If they do they are sure to be a huge hit, since the cost savings when
compared to surgery are vast.
For the time being breast enhancement creams appear not to make much if any difference, except maybe to your wallet!
As is typical with any serious thought about modifying your body, go and visit your doctor. See what they say, then you'll be able to make a more
informed decision for your specific situation.

Remove Wrinkles With Botox

Remove Wrinkles With Botox

Women and men alike are afraid of getting old and they start to get upset at the first sight of wrinkles. For the longest time people would have to just
deal with the fact that they were aging and that they were getting wrinkles. There were those however, who could afford to have what it known as a
facelift. This was a surgery that was performed to remove the wrinkles from the face, but unfortunately it is a quite expensive. In recent years doctors
have created the perfect solution to wrinkles and aging, this is known as botox.
Botox is used to reduce the appearance a wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. In the past ophthalmologists to treat what was called nervous
twitching of the eyelid only used it. However, since 1982 it has been used to reduce wrinkles and aging in men and women.
How Botox Works
Botox relaxes the muscles. There is a common misconception that botox is injected into all the wrinkles that are present on the face, however this is
not the case at all. The botox itself is used to treat the muscles that cause the presence of wrinkles, not the wrinkles themselves. One injected this
chemical works to keep the muscles from crunching together and causing the face to appear wrinkled.
The chemical known as botox is injected into the skin by way of a tiny needle. The effect of the botox will last up to six months. After the injection the
skin and face will appear to be stiff but it with relax and smoothen out after a few days.
Side Effects of Botox
There are very few side effects to this procedure. There is a small chance that the patient will be allergic to the chemical itself. However, this is rare. It
is also possible that after a while the patient will experience some drooping in the eye and lip, depending on which part of the face has been treated.
This is usually for a short period of time and it has been known to correct it and seeking medical attention is not needed.

Shaving Tips For Smooth Legs

Shaving Tips For Smooth Legs

Shaving is one task that most women hate to deal with. It is something that takes a significant amount of time and with today's woman being as busy
as ever, there is simply not enough time in the day! Even though it is annoying, there are few women who can comfortably live with hairy legs, at least
for more than a week or two. Therefore, you should learn what you can do to make shaving your legs not as bothersome.
Although some women never think twice about how far to shave, there are many women who are in constant wonder about whether they should
shave more than an inch above their knees. Most young women rarely worry about shaving above their knees unless they have dark hair growth.
Adult women however rarely leave any part of their leg unshaved. It is really a personal preference decision. If you are comfortable leaving your
upper leg a bit fuzzy, then by all means, you have the right to do so. Once you do begin shaving the upper area however, you may find that you are
only comfortable when your entire leg is hair-free.
Many women determine how much of their legs they shave by the weather. If they are planning on wearing a short skirt, bathing suit, or shorts, they
will shave their entire leg. However, in the winter season they may forgo shaving altogether. Single women who date are much more likely to shave
their entire legs everyday. Married women are more likely to skip a day or only shave the parts of their legs that are visible to the general public.
After deciding exactly what you are going to shave and what you will leave for later, there are a few things that you should do to make sure shaving is
a comfortable experience. The most important thing you can do is to use a fresh razor. Razors can be used more than once, obviously, however you
should certainly change your razor at least once a week. Disposable razors are different and should be tossed daily.
With a fresh razor in hand, you should lather up with a good shaving agent. You can use a shaving gel, cream, or lotion. Try the female versions of
shaving products, as they are usually a bit more sensitive. However, in a pinch, you can certainly reach for your man's cream. Another great item to
use to help you in shaving is hair conditioner. It works just like shaving lotion and can help moisturize your legs during and after you shave. Try not to
use soap as this will only dry out your legs and makes shaving uncomfortable.
Even though you are likely rushed to get in and out of the shower, be sure to take your time when you shave. The more time and effort you take, the
better your shave will be. You will have a smoother shave with less nicks and rashes if you shave slowly. So, try to slow it down a bit. Saving your
shaving routine for last when in the shower is also a good idea. By allowing your hair to soften from washing and the heat of the water, you will find
shaving to be more soothing than stressful.
What you do to your legs after exiting the shower is almost as important as what you do when you are in the shower. Never leave shaved legs dry
and without moisture. Most women can lather on body lotion right after shaving, but some may find this irritating to their legs. If you find yourself in an
irritating situation, consider skipping your shaving routine for a few days. After your irritation heals, try using baby oil right on your legs after shaving.
Almost everyone can use this without irritation. It is a bit messier, but it will provide everything you need for a comfortable shave.
Getting a clean and non-irritating leg shave can mean putting a little more effort into the routine then you may expect. However, these tips are not so
time consuming that you will notice a big difference in your morning schedule. They are mostly things that you can start making habits, which will
ultimately take no more time for you to accomplish than your normal routine. So, start shaving smart today and you will see the results in no time!

Easy Ways To Deal With Acne

Easy Ways To Deal With Acne

You have probably thought to yourself over and over again that you wish acne was not a part of life. It can be a frustrating and difficult part of
adolescence, and can spread into adulthood as well.
Acne is never fun, and sometimes it is even the cause of much embarrassment and teasing. You might feel like you are at the end of your rope, and
you might be ready and willing to try anything to get rid of it!
Unfortunately, acne is just a part of life. It seems silly, but it is true. Have you ever noticed that some people have great complexions, and some
people are burdened with lots of acne, for years? It just so happens that most of acne is in our genetics.
There is simply nothing we can do about whether or not we are going to be prone to having acne. If your parents had clear complexions, you probably
will not have too much of a problem. If your parents had lots of acne as teenagers, it might be in your genetics as well.
Whether you have a genetic disposition towards acne or towards a clear complexion, there are many things that you can do to either lessen your
chances of having lots of acne or of having more acne. Acne might be mostly controlled by genetics, but there are various things that will make your
conditions better or worse, no matter what your personal genetic disposition might be.
First of all, you should be sure to wash your face twice a day. You should use a soap that is made for face washing. Using a regular bar of soap is
going to dry your skin, and you will have a better chance of getting acne. You can pick from lots of different kinds of soaps designed for washing faces.
There are facial soaps that you can use for dry skin, or for oily skin, or for normal skin. There are also face soaps that will gently exfoliate your skin.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are facial soaps that are made to reduce acne. Some of them are preventative acne reducers, but you can also
buy soaps that are made with medicines to help you fight the acne that you already have.
These medicated soaps are something that you should take care in when using, because they might also irritate your skin. You should use them on a
small portion of your face first, and if there is no irritation, you can use them normally.
An important factor in reducing acne comes after you have washed your face. The use of a good, gentle, alcohol free toner is a good way to make
sure that your pores are clear of dirt and grime, and that your entire face is clean. Use these cooling toners on your face after you have washed it by
putting a small amount on a cotton ball and wiping it across your face.
This will help to prevent acne. When you are finished with the toner, you will also want to use a gentle face lotion. Be careful not to use regular body
lotion on your face, because regular body lotions might have chemicals or other things added like perfumes or coloring that might cause more acne. A
face lotion should be light and gentle, and like the toner, you should use it sparingly at first. A good lotion will keep your face hydrated and smooth and
will lesson your chances for acne.
Another important thing that you should always remember about preventing acne is to never sleep with makeup or other things on your face. When
you sleep, your sweat and body oils might mix with whatever is on your face and cause acne. You might also press your face against a pillow or
blanket and your pores will not be able to breathe. The make up is going to cause you to develop acne. Always remember to wash your face before
you go to sleep.
When you are looking to prevent acne, the most important step is to keep your face clean and healthy. That way, even if you have a genetic
disposition towards acne, you will be able to do the best job you can in controlling it and hopefully you will be able to pass through this period in your
life with ease!

Hair Color Trends

Hair Color Trends

Current hair color trends are defined within the move towards relaxed glamour. Healthy, shiny hair, with lots of movement, yet still well groomed. Color
is defined - it's either pastel blondes, in clean, icy tones. Or cool browns, or brilliant reds. The move has definitely been away from red browns,
although if that's a personal choice, or suits your skin tone best, don't be a slave to fashion!
Here are some ideas to incorporate the latest hair color trends into your style:
Double sided coloring - underneath, choose a darker color like chocolate, and over the top, and for most of the hair, choose lighter shades like copper
and bronze. The darker color will frame your face, and if you go for any flicks or curls when styling, you'll see it contrasted against the lighter colors.
But the main colors when hair is straightened will be the lighter ones. It's great for variety.
Try color combinations like coffee, honeycomb and golden syrup for a more subtle, layered effect.
For brunettes who like their chocolate browns, try a few golden highlights to break up the block of chocolate, unless your face and skin color can
handle the density of such a rich dark color. It really helps define your hair style, and is much easier to wear.
If you like very dark colors, try a brown black instead of a straight black. Or get your hairdresser to mix in some blue black into the brown black to give
it more intensity, but without the harshness of a solid black that is not flattering to all skin tones. Also, try mixing in some caramel and pink-red foils
with a violet brown black base. If they're used creatively, and with restraint, you can keep the overall look very dark and mysterious, with a few hints of
color showing.
For blondes, try mixing golden blonde with a very light ash. Or for a more subtle but contrasting look, have the ends of a bob colored a pale pastel
coral.
If you want to try platinum shades, instead of going for a harsher white white, try a softer platinum white tinted slightly with pink.
For a pretty natural blonde look, try splicing a few clove and light ash foils through a pale, golden base shade.
Redheads: Go for a rich, fiery copper with a darker brown underneath, like clove. This works well on long hair and mid length hair.
For another red combination, try cayenne, nutmeg and paprika.
For really vibrant colors mixed with a darker base, away from the coppers, try a pink red combination of cassis and raspberry coulis.
For something a little more outrageous and individual, go for a brightly colored fringe, say in pink, and a few purple ends.
If you want something quite striking, but not so colorful, just go for a lighter than usual highlight. As long as it's tastefully done, it'll look great. Don't try
this at home!!!
When choosing colors, be aware of whether it's a warm shade or a cool shade. And keep in mind how much of each color is going to be on your hair.
Which shade, or tone, do you want the dominant one to be? Do you want a subtle effect, or a more striking one? Unless the contrasting color is going
to be in small amounts, keep warm tones together, and cool tones together, irrespective of whether they are blond, brown, black or red. For example,
chocolate brown highlights look good with warm vanilla, even though the colors themselves are quite distinct.
You can use different tones together. But it depends on both your skin tone, the way the colors are applied, and how much of each are used. If you're
going for this approach, think of the contrasting tone as a painter would, and be judicious about it's placing.

Should You Worry About Your Dark Skin In The Sun?

Should You Worry About Your Dark Skin In The Sun?

It is always said that people with fair skin and freckles really need to be careful whilst out in the sun. So what if you have darker skin? Does that mean
that you do not have to be as careful? Are there still risks of sun damage for people with darker skins?
I can be extremely confusing to know whether the sun can still damage darker skin, when you are constantly being told that fair skin has the biggest
danger. So just exactly what are the risks to darker skin?
The Problems Which Can Occur With Dark Skin in the Sun
Whilst it has previously been thought that cancer is blocked by darker skins, this simply is not true. It may be less common in darker skin, but if you do
have dark skin and you end up with skin cancer, it can often be more deadly than if you had fair skin. This is due to the fact that it is often diagnosed
later as it is harder to find and it is often more aggressive in darker skins too.
Darker skin is better protected against sunburn however, as it contains extra pigment. Also, darker skin has increased epidermal melanin which tends
to provide natural sun protection. This does not mean that you should not wear sunscreen however, you should always wear sunscreen to protect your
skin, and it just means that darker skin has more of a natural protection than fair skin. Generally dark skin has a natural sun protection factor of around
13, and it can also filter the suns UV rays better than fair skin can.
Melanoma is a condition which is common on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands on people with dark skin. This is because these places
are often lighter than other parts of the body. Also other skin cancers tend to first appear on the soles of the feet and on the palms of the hands so you
really should check these areas regularly after you have been exposed to the sun.
The best way to prevent skin cancer is to wear sun protection. Even though darker skins do have a sun protection factor of up to 13, it is advised that
you do wear sun protection with a factor of at least 15. It all depends upon where you live. Some areas have stronger UV levels than others, and so if
you live in the Caribbean for example, you will generally need a higher protection level than if you lived somewhere such as the UK. A good way to see
what the UV levels will be like daily, you should watch your local weather report which will tell you how strong the UV levels are going to be for that
day.
Also having a healthy diet and regular exercise really can help to cut your chances of skin cancer. Eating a lot of oily fish such as salmon, which
contains a lot of omega 3, can help to cut your risk of burning in the sun by up to 33% if you eat it up to three times a week for over three months.
So overall, generally if you have darker skin you are still at risk of developing skin cancer, even if your chances are reduced. You really should not
gamble with your life by following research which tells you that darker skins are safe from the sun. You are not completely safe and you need to take
the necessary precautions the same as everybody else. Always check your hands and the soles of your feet to check for any skin alterations such as
blisters or moles. Always consult a doctor if you do notice any changes and they will be able to give you a full diagnosis. The sun can be deadly to all
skin colors and it needs to be taken seriously.

Acne Treatment

Acne Treatment - The Real Secret to Quickly Heal Your Acne

Acne is an all too common skin condition, and in some cases the chemicals used to treat it can further damage the skin. Here are some tips that will
help you heal your acne:
No scrubbing or rubbing.
You can't scrub your acne away. In fact abrasive or frequent washing can lead to dry skin and irritated acne. Your skin will respond best to kind
attention. Gently wash your face no more than twice a day with a mild cleanser and pat your skin dry with a clean towel. If you exercise hard and
sweat a lot you may want to wash your face afterwards.
Don't pop pimples.
Don't pop or squeeze pimples, as it could lead to inflammation and infection. It could also push the infected materials deep into the skin and create
more swelling. Squeezing or popping pimples could lead to permanent scars on the face.
Breathe deeply.
It is advisable to breathe deeply when you feel stressed. Doctors have found out that there is a direct link between stress and acne. Studies have
shown that there is increased amount of androgen production when a person is under stress. Not only mental but physical stress such as allergies,
surgery etc could activate the androgen production. When androgen is activated the sebaceous glands pumps out more oil/sebum leading to acne.
Use honey.
Apply a honey mask once a week. Honey is regarded as a disinfectant and also it has medicinal properties believed to heal minor blemishes. It has the
properties of destroying the bacteria present in the skin.
Pay kind attention to your skin.
Use a mild cleanser no more than twice a day and gently wash and dry your skin. Apply a noncomedogenic (won't clog your pores) sunscreen.
Patience is a virtue.
Be patient. Healing takes time. Unfortunately this doesn't happen overnight. Results are generally seen in a few weeks, but may take up to 8 weeks or
more. Don't be tempted by over night promises. So give your acne treatment a fighting chance.
Use sunscreen.
Many acne medications contain ingredients that can make your skin extra sensitive to sunlight and ultraviolet light from tanning booths. Read the label
warnings, avoid tanning booths, and always use a sunscreen with at least an SPF of 15. Sun exposure can actually irritate acne even if you are not
using an acne medication. So don't make sunbathing a part of your lifestyle and always use sunscreen.
More is not better.
If you use more acne medication than directed by your doctor you can actually worsen your acne. Many over-the-counter acne treatments contain
active ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. Too much of either of these can cause your skin to become excessively dry or irritated. It
can take time for your skin to adapt to new medications. Remember that it may take up to 8 weeks for any acne medication to have a noticeable effect.
Use the medication exactly as directed by your doctor and if you don't see an improvement within 8 weeks talk with your dermatologist.
Use only noncomedogenic products.
When purchasing cosmetics, sunscreen or other skin care products, make sure the label reads noncomedogenic. These products, as well as those
labeled nonacnegenic, won't clog your pores and therefore won't cause or make your acne worse.
Here's the rub.
Headbands and hats can aggravate your acne as they rub against your forehead. Try to avoid these things when possible.
Don't touch your face.
It's amazing how often we touch our faces during an average day. Our hands have oil on them and of course bacteria too, both of which can make
acne worse. So avoid touching your face or leaning your chin on your hand. Be sure that other objects that come in contact with your face like cell
phones, telephone receivers, eye glasses, etc are clean.
Wash your face.
It is advisable to wash your face at least twice a day with sulfur-based soap. Once when you wake up and again when you go to bed. Do not scrub;
just give it a smooth touch. Washing your skin over and over again will create more trouble than help you.
Cut your hair.
If you have long hair it is advisable to cut it short. Your hair contains oil and when you move, the dust particles do mix up with your hair and when your
hair bangs on your face or neck or forehead or the affected area, the situation could worsen. Also wash your hair on a daily basis.
Eat fruits and vegetables.
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables daily.
Drink lots of water.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. Water helps in cleaning and hydrating the skin and maintaining overall health.
Change your pillowcase.
Wash or change your pillowcase every day.
Exercise.
Exercise moderately as it helps in blood circulation and helps eliminate toxins.
Review your environment.
Pollution, airborne grease (such as in a fast food restaurant), irritating clothing - all these can aggravate your acne. It isn't always possible to avoid all
the various irritants that may contribute to your acne. You can, however, make educated decisions that may help to minimize their impact. Loosen
tight, irritating clothing or find fabrics that breathe better and don't aggravate your acne.

Facial Skin Care Tips

Facial Skin Care Tips and Remedies

As far as new technology is concern, many people undergo the process just to look younger and to look beautiful. Mostly, they do that is their faces.
As we grow old, wrinkles, dark spots and blemishes start to rule our faces. That is the reason why facial skin care products were designed to reduce
the visible signs of aging and improve the health and beauty of the skin.
It is true what that beauty is only skin deep, so it is just right to do what feels right for you. With the huge advances made in skincare products today ,
most of us still prefer taking the less invasive way.
Here are some facial skin care tips and remedies that will help enhance the skin’s appearance at any age without the help of needles and knives.
At the age of 20’s, the skin is at its peak of beauty in your twenties, however nurtures its beauty and always use at least an SPF 30 sunscreen. Just
continue using that at any age. Try to stay away from oily makeup and cover-ups. If possible use an oil free moisturizer every day. By this age using
an eye cream under the eye area especially at night is also a good idea. Use products that contain green tea which have shown to help reduce the risk
of skin cancer.
If you reach your 30’s, it is when the skin becomes a bit drier and sun damage may begin to appear. Start using thicker moisturizing creams so as to
lock in high contents of moisture. Just continue using with eye creams at night and use sunscreen too. Skin bleaching products may need to be used
to diminish dark spots from sun damage. It is good to put your moisturizer on over damp skin. This helps lock in more moisture.
It’s time to kick it up another notch when you reach your 40’s. It is when your skin loses much of it tightness. This s when your skin may begin to look
dull and your pores may become larger. Then the blotches, freckles, age spots, discoloration, and changes in skin color may become much more
visible.
With this, the retinoids, anti-oxidants and alpha hydroxy acids can improve the look of your skin and your 40’s would be a good time to begin using
them. It is still essential that you continue using a thick moisturizer and eye serums on a daily basis. Home microdermabrasion kits are also an option
that can result in a smoother more even appearing skin texture and tone while rejuvenating your skin’s texture and color.
At the age of 50’s, the changes in your skin have reached high gear. That is the time where menopause has assisted in the loss of Estrogen which is
what has given your skin its elasticity and kept it hydrated, however since those estrogen levels have diminished, you will begin seeing wrinkles form
around your eyes, drooping eyelids and expression lines around the mouth and forehead.
Try to begin using anti-aging or wrinkle reducing formulas such as vitamin A (Retinol) or Glycolic acid products. Retin A has proven to reduce fine lines
and wrinkles while improving skin texture, skin tone and color, as well as your skin’s hydration levels. Glycolic acid will trigger new formation of
collagen to plump cells and reduce wrinkles on the skin’s surface. Postmenopausal women can also use a cream containing progesterone that may
improve skin elasticity and firmness.
There is always a way or even ways to get away with skin ageing. Surgery is never always an answer to that. Always put in mind that you can still
manage to stay beautiful and have that flawless skin using facial skin care products and remedies.

Breast Implants

Silicone Breast Implants

When a woman has a plastic surgery these can involve any part of the body. For the most part these surgical procedures will be ones that involve reducing fat deposits from the thighs, face, waist, stomach and the breasts. The numbers of breast surgeries that can be found are an indication of the popularity of these plastic surgery procedures.

In general the places where this cosmetic surgery will be done can usually be found in hospitals. There are private surgeries where you can also have silicone breast implants performed. Since you are planning on having a part of your body changed you should take the time to hunt for plastic surgeons that are known for their reconstructive work in breasts.

At present the breast surgeries will include a number of different procedures. These list silicone breast implants as among the popular ones. In this procedure the silicone is mainly implanted into the breasts to provide the tight and up lifted appearance. When you look around for plastic surgeons who are qualified to perform this surgery you can find many doctors.

You should make sure that you undergo treatment with a well qualified doctor as the silicone breast implants do have problems. The most common problem is that the implants may rupture. If this does occur, the silicone which is in the implant will leak outwards into the rest of the body. There is a chance that you will become allergic or infected with the leaked silicone.

Since this is an occurrence that has happened previously many women nowadays prefer to have gel or saline based breast implants inserted instead. Unlike the silicone breast implants the saline ones are safer to your body.

If you still feel that having silicone breast implants is a better option for you it is a good idea if you are familiar with the advantages and disadvantages to be found. These pros and cons for the breast implant surgeries can be found on the internet as well as with your doctor.

Great Makeup

7 Steps to Great Makeup

7 Steps to Great Makeup - - -

1. Avoid wearing too much

Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That's what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don't wear too much of anything such as:

i) Eyeliner: dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.

ii) Mascara: too much mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.

iii) Foundation: Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.

iv) Powder:The same holds true for powder - not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lineS

2. Lips

Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn't show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.

3. Appropriate makeup
Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn't wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.

4. Too little or no makeup

Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.

5. Overall look

When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.

6. Hair color

Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color - if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don't let your roots show.

7. One last thing

Keep makeup looking fresh all day by doing regular touch ups. Don't let your makeup fade or crease. Smile!!!
